Yubiwa Private Academy (
Information[]
Yubiwa Academy is a private educational institution which combines the primary and secondary stages of education, having an elementary, middle and high school. The academy is funded by the Yubiwa Foundation, making Sousaku Yubiwa a member of the board of directors. The school has a fairly strict curriculum, having even removed art classes from its schedule, in a fairly controversial decision which earned the ire of Kowako Towai. The administration keeps trying to infringe upon the students' rights and remove more of their liberties, decisions which Sakiguchi's student council vehemently tries to oppose.
Uniform[]
The Yubiwa Academy school uniform has an odd and colorful design. Students wear a dark green blazer with white buttons and black epaulettes with white edges, worn over a white shirt with a black collar and black cuffs, with a tie tied around the collar bearing a design reminiscent of outer space, with a black and blue gradient design. Female student wear a pleated skirt with a black and white vertical stripe design, while male students wear pants with the same black and white vertical stripes. Most of the Pretty Boy Detective Club members wear modified versions of the uniforms, showcasing their individuality.
In the manga, the uniforms are slightly more detailed, with some details changed. The dark green blazers have a design similar to a six button suit, and have red collars, lapels and edges, with black buttons instead of white and long black cuffs. Additionally, the pants no longer have the black and white stripes, instead bearing a dark gray color with a faint white plaid design.
