Sir Cancer (サー・カンサー, Sā Kansā), real name Caesar Caesar (シーザー・カエサル, Shīzā Kaesaru), is an antagonist of Zodiac War. He is the War Criminal of Cancer (『
Personality[]
At first glance, Sir Cancer appears to be an amiable and gentle man, speaking in a polite and humble manner and showing respect to those he speaks to[1]. However, that is just his professional mask, and he is shown peppering his speech with derision under the guise of insincere compliments and praise[2]. He has no regard for the lives of others, even his allies, sending them to their deaths just for the sake of emotionally damaging Sharyuu[3], and later, testing her[2]. In his own words, he values honor over his own life, and would rather die than give up on the chance to be the winner[2]. He is very intelligent and capable of uniting people, being the one to bring the group of war criminals together in the first place[4], as well as serving as their strategist[1], with even the leader, Dandy Lion, respecting his decisions in terms of planning[5]. Like all the other war criminals, he hates war, believing it to be the reason why he ended up a dishonored outlaw in the first place, so much so that he devised the plan to eradicate it through giving up his and the other criminals' lives, all in order to dismantle the symbol of war that is the Zodiac War[4]. He reportedly enjoys and is very skilled at eating crab, comparing the act of separating the meat from the shell to disentangling a war[1].

Sharyuu[]
Sharyuu is Sir Cancer's successor, the one who took on the mantle as the most famous pacifist in the world. Regarding her, he was admittedly curious in testing her skills, devising strategies targeting her and, during their negotiation, constantly emphasizing the age difference between them as an attempt to underline his superiority, as well as employing other means to pressure her, like a time limit. In the end, however, he is reluctantly convinced of her abilities, showing a rare brief glimpse of his true feelings through a discontented expression[2].
Appearance[]
Sir Cancer is a thin elderly man with dark eyes and short, neatly combed white hair. Despite his age, he has a perfect posture, and is shown wearing formal attire comprised of a dark blue suit with white vertical stripes. Underneath his suit jacket is a black vest and white undershirt with a red tie, and he wears brown dress shoes.
Background[]
When he was twelve years old, he won the 8th Zodiac War only twelve minutes after it started, though no one remembers this because he wished to keep it off the record. Later, he worked as a war negotiator, making a living settling disputes between warring nations through his gentle demeanor and amiable personality. He was so famous in the field that some considered that, if anyone could end war entirely, it would be him. Remarkably, while other negotiators settled for reaching an armistice or ceasefire, Sir Cancer set his sights on complete reconciliation between the warring states. However, this principle ended up coming back to bite him, as, in one case, after the war, the two countries became suspicious of his continued meddling, and he eventually ended up accused of being a double agent. Because of his involvement in many negotiations that bordered on illegal, there was no room for explanation, and he ended up being stripped of his achievements and labled a war criminal. A while after his fall from grace, Sharyuu ended up in a similar position as a famous pacifist[1]. Motivated by his hatred of war, he decided to gather eleven other infamous war criminals together and plan to take over the Zodiac War, massacring all of the warriors as well as dying themselves, believing that disgracing the symbol of war that is the Zodiac War will lead to dismantling war as a concept[4].

- Umbrella Cane (ステッキ
傘 , Sutekki Kasa): An umbrella which Sir Cancer carries around on his person, typically using it in place of a cane. It is black with a red underside, its pole also being black. He is also shown using it as a weapon, utilizing it to bludgeon Hitsujii to death[1].
