Shigure Tokinomiya (
Personality[]
Shigure appears to have a more down-to-earth personality compared to Izumu. He is much less aggressive, not even taking an opportunity against Hitoshiki Zerozaki when he mistook Shigure for Izumu, which could have used to his advantage. Instead, it led to him being surprised and even shaken. Despite this, he still has somewhat of a fortified mind.
Though not much being known about Shigure's other personality, it is believed to be a true split personality and female. Shigure may even share a conscious with her, as they seemingly have conversations aloud with each other.
Appearance[]
Shigure looks near-identical to Izumu's appearance in Cannibal Magical, with the same straitjacket attire, flowing hair, and glasses. The primary difference between the two is Shigure's sclera being black with red eyes, while Izumu's sclera are white with green eyes. Furthermore, Shigure's hair is lime green in color, compared to Izumu's dark green, making him the only known Tokinomiya that doesn't share their characteristic blonde hair.
There's also the distinct lack of a bandaid on Shigure's head. Notably, the bandage cloth around Shigure's knees is shown unwinding into nothingness. This is presumably a stylistic choice, as he can be seen wearing low green heels, like Izumu, in his Ningen Trading Card Game card.
Background[]
Shigure is a member of the Tokinomiya Hospital, the first ranking family of the Cursing Names. It is implied that Shigure is, in fact, Izumu's prototype, created at the Kitsuregawa Research Institute. As he is a prototype, he seems to have an actual split personality and lacks the powerful Eating One ability; however, he does have raw strength on his side.
In Hitoshiki Zerozaki's Human Relations: Relations with Soushiki Zerozaki, he seems to cooperate with several other Cursing Names, with the goal of fighting the Zerozaki Clan.
