Rei is a curvaceous adult woman with sharp gray eyes very long and slightly spikey light brown hair with an ahoge, slicked back to show her forehead and styled into a ponytail, tied in two places, with a large black bow at the bottom. She is shown wearing a black suit over a red shirt, a black skirt, black gloves, dark gray fishnets and black high heeled shoes. She also wears a pair of red-tinted sunglasses and a black choker, and wears yellow lipstick and yellow eyeshadow. While inside the limousine, Rei is shown without her suit jacket and sunglasses, and with her red shirt unbuttoned at the top, revealing her cleavage. While disguised as a teacher, Rei is shown wearing a black sleeveless sweater, a pair of khaki wide leg pants and red high heel shoes, also still wearing her black gloves.
Rei's manga design has her with straighter and shorter hair, with the ponytail tied higher and her bangs parted to the left instead of slicked back. She is shown wearing black suit pants and open black suit jacket over a light-colored shirt, unbuttoned at the top and bottom, revealing her cleavage and a portion of her abdomen. She also wears high heeled shoes, a necklace with a circular ornament attached, and tear-drop shaped earrings.
Background[]
Rei's background and the circumstances due to which she ended up becoming a criminal and leading the Twenties are all unknown. At some point, her group was paid by the organization responsible for the military satellite to kidnap Mayumi Doujima after the girl discovered its identity[1]. She has also been working with Rai Fudatsuki and the organization creating the Invisibility Wear[2].

- Disguise: Rei appears to be proficient at disguising herself and sneaking into places, being capable of infiltrating Yubiwa Academy while dressed as a teacher. Additionally, she has stated that breaking out of prison is like a hobby for her, further showing her confidence in her abilities at stealth and camouflage[3].

- Rei's name is written with the kanji for "beautiful". Additionally, it has the same pronunciation as the kanji for "zero" (
零 , Rei), indicating her numbered position within the Twenties. - Her nickname, the Beauty with Twenty Faces, is a reference to a reoccurring antagonist called the Fiend with Twenty Faces, created by Ranpo Edogawa and featured in his Boy Detective Club Series, which is the basis for the Pretty Boy Detective Club.
