Pretty Boy Detective Club: The Dark Star that Shines for You Alone (美少年探偵団(びしょうねんたんていだん)　きみだけに光(ひかり)かがやく暗黒星(あんこくせい), Bishōnen Tantei-dan Kimi Dake ni Hikari Kagayaku Ankoku-sei) is the first novel of the Bishounen Series, written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by Kinako. It was released on October 20, 2015[1] in Japanese and on September 29, 2020[2] in English.

Synopsis[]

A girl searching for a star she saw only once ten years ago—Mayumi Doujima, a second-year student at the Yubiwa Private Academy middle school. Her search is undertaken by the Pretty Boy Detective Club, a mysterious organization rumored to solve the school's problems on an unofficial, non-profit basis. Five pretty boys with overly eccentric personalities toy with her, and a lively and dangerous daily life begins. A new twist on the coming-of-age mystery![1]
