Personality[]
Nagahiro is a soft-spoken and well-mannered individual, with a constant composed attitude[1]. As the oldest of the Pretty Boy Detective Club, he is shown to be the most mature member, keeping his more eccentric companions in check, although he still has a childish spirit, as that is a requirement to be a part of the club[2]. He is shown to be quite the intellectual and cunning individual, outsmarting even Rei[3], a professional criminal, and being a worthy adversary for the equally shrewd Rai Fudatsuki. Nagahiro has also been shown to feel compelled to help others because of his privileged upbringing, which is why he accepted the marriage with Kodaki Kawaike arranged by his parents, and why he wishes for Mayumi Doujima to become her first friend[4].
He has perhaps the best reputation of the club's members as the student council president of Yubiwa Academy. Due to his beautiful voice, he is said to have plenty of admirers[1]. Even so, within the club itself, he is often teased for being a lolicon, an accusation leveled at him due to his elementary schooler fiancée, although he insists that the allegation is unfounded, as the marriage was arranged by his parents and is totally out of his control. Nevertheless, Mayumi and others still remain wary of him due to such remarks. He and Michiru Fukuroi reportedly have a rivalry due to their contrasting social positions at the academy, and only leave their feud on hold while they work together for the club[1].
Appearance[]
Nagahiro is a tall young man with gray eyes and very long and slightly wavy silver hair, usually tied in a ponytail, with his bangs covering his left eye. He is usually shown wearing a modified version of the Yubiwa Academy uniform, featuring a version of the dark green blazer with no lapel and three silver buttons, over a white shirt with a black collar covering his entire neck, black and white striped pants and white high heeled shoes. He also wears black gloves and ties the end of his ponytail with a black bow.
His manga redesign is mostly the same, although with straighter hair and a more regular version of the uniform, with the purple tie and the dark green blazer with the red tie. Additionally, he wears knee-high silver boots with high heels.
Background[]
Nagahiro is the son of the wealthy Sakiguchi family. Immediately after enrolling in Yubiwa Academy middle school, he was elected as student council president thanks to his supremely eloquent speech[1]. During his time in middle school, his family arranged a marriage with the heiress of the Kawaike family, Kodaki Kawaike, in order to help the declining clan[4]. At some point, he met Manabu Soutouin and became the vice president of the Pretty Boy Detective Club[1].

美声 , Bisei): Nagahiro's forte is his beautiful speaking voice, which captivated the student body during his speeches, making them elect him the council president. It is said that even professional voice actors look up to Nagahiro[1]. His voice is not only beautiful, but he can also manipulate it at will, mimicking others' voices with amazing precision[3].

- Nagahiro's last name, Sakiguchi, is written with the characters for "blossom" and "mouth".
- Nagahiro's first name is written with the characters for "leader" and "broad".
- Nagahiro's title, Nagahiro the Orator, like the other titles of the members of the club, is composed of a word specific to the character which begins with the kanji 美, meaning "beauty", followed by the character's name in katakana.
- Nagahiro's appellation, Councilman, as is the case for the other pretty boys, ends with the kanji 長, meaning "leader" or "chief".
