"In this case, we cannot say there are no victims. However, there are no criminals. There's only a maiden in love. That's a good thing, isn't it?"

Miki Mikimoto

Miki Mikimoto (幹本(みきもと) 海樹(みき), Mikimoto Miki) is the protagonist of Part Threes. She is a 3rd year student and the student council president of her school.[1]

Personality[]

Miki is a prideful, authoritative, boisterous leader to her two fellow council members, exuding a regal aura fitting for her position. She shows no hesitation when commanding others to do her bidding, proving her confident nature. Nonetheless, she shows embarrassment when being forced to wear braids herself, according to Ken Sanemura's plan, finding the hairstyle unfitting for herself. She is empathetic and follows her moral code, shown by her determination to apprehend the braid thief in order to avenge the victim and prevent additional incidents from occurring. In her own words, she would hug the victim to comfort them, be they male or female (so long as they aren't Sanemura). This ends up translating into her hugging Ami Tsuchiumi, seeing through her true motives.[1]

Appearance[]

Miki is a young girl with shoulder length brown hair styled in a "princess" haircut, as well as purple eyes. She is shown wearing her school's uniform, a black sailor outfit with red highlights, a white ribbon and short skirt, as well as a white turtleneck worn underneath it.[1]

Background[]

Not much of her background is known, aside from the fact that she is a 3rd year student of class 3 who was elected as student council president.[1]

Quotes[]

  • (Miki to Sanemura) "To hug a girl who is crying herself to sleep every night; I wonder why that is not the highest priority."[1]
  • (Miki's response to being forced to wear braids) "I will never forgive you, Sanemura-kun! I will make you regret this at the next budget conference!"[1]
  • (Miki's words regarding the case's conclusion) "Due to the high number of scared students this time, in this case, we cannot say there are no victims. However, there are no criminals. There's only a maiden in love. That's a good thing, isn't it?"[1]

Trivia[]

  • Miki's first name is written with the kanji for "sea" and "tree".
  • Miki's last name, Mikimoto, is written with the kanji for "tree trunk" and "book".
