Legend of the Scream (悲鳴伝(ひめいでん), Himei Den) is the first novel of Densetsu Series, written by Nisio Isin. It was first released on April 26, 2012^[1], with a Bunko reprint edition released on October 14, 2022^[2].

Synopsis[]

His name is Kuu Sorakara, an ordinary thirteen-year-old boy. When an eccentric girl, Kenka Kendou, appeared, what could have been an ordinary day came to an end. This is the beginning of an epic, wildly ridiculous, but a surprisingly well-told story. Will the hero who stands up to the great evil in order to save humanity be able to fight to the death?
