"I'm pumped up. Experiment begin."
- — Ken Sanemura
Ken Sanemura (
Personality[]
Ken is an eccentric and confident, always wearing a smirk on his face. Fittingly for his position as science club member, he is most interested in experiments, initially not showing any care for the braid killer case, only accepting to perform tests on the sample of hair after Miki Mikimoto piqued his interest, wishing to make her lost for words. He finds excitement in experimentation, stating that he only does research he thinks won't end safely. He commands loyalty from his fellow club members, particularly Furasuko Mizaki. He shows a playful side in concocting his plan to style the student council members in braids, knowing that it would embarrass the president.[1]
Appearance[]
Ken is a young man with slightly long messy green hair, held back by a black hairband, and sharp blue eyes. He s shown wearing glasses, and a labcoat over his school's black uniform. Additionally, he is shown wearing a cast on his right arm and a gauze on his cheek, presumably resulting from an experiment gone wrong.[1]
Background[]
Not much is known about Ken's background, aside from the fact that he is a 1st year member of class 2 and the president of the science club, with Biika Sekki and Furasuko Mizaki as his fellow club members.[1]
Quotes[]
- (Ken accepting Miki's request) "Yup, you sparked my interest. I'm pumped up. Experiment begin."[1]
- (Ken to Furasuko) "Unfortunately, I have never done an experiment I think will end up well. That is why experiments are exhilarating!"[1]
- (Ken's words regarding the case's conclusion) "Nope, it was a failure. I just wanted to make that arrogant queen lost for words. But I failed. It concluded like a good story."[1]
