Katanagatari Chapter Four: Thin Sword, Needle (刀語(かたながたり) 第四話(だいよんわ) 薄刀(はくとう)・針(はり), Katanagatari Dai Yon-wa Hakutō Hari) is the fourth novel of the Katanagatari Series, written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by Take. It was released on April 3, 2007[1] in Japanese and on May 28, 2019[2] as a part of the second English Omnibus.

Synopsis[]

Swordless “swordsman” Shichika and self-described “schemer” Togame are on a quest to obtain twelve peculiar masterpiece blades. Introducing narrative curveballs that break up the structure and modulate the tempo, this hardcover edition, featuring a gatefold color insert, beautiful interior art, and copious bilingual footnotes, is the second of a quartet collecting a best-selling series from the former homeland of samurais and ninjas.[2]
