ER3 System

The ER3 System (ER3システム, ER3 Shisutemu) is a research institute located in Houston, Texas in the world of the Zaregoto Series and is home to the most powerful minds in the world. While the ER3 System is open to anyone who wishes to join, one must pass an extremely difficult exam in order to do so, which is mentioned to require knowing multiple languages, amongst other things.

Despite a number of major advances in science being discovered here, the ER3 System is quite secretive with its projects, hiding them from public eye as some of the research conducted within is highly unethical; some of which is comparable to RULE's child soldier school, Sumiyuri Academy. It represents the furthermost edge of the Outer World.

The Seven Fools (七愚人(ななぐじん), Nanagujin), also known as the Fools of the Seeds (フール・オブ・ザ・シーズ, Fūru Obu Za Shīzu), the "people closest to the answers of the world" and even the "geniuses of geniuses", are a group of the seven most brilliant members of the ER3 System whom are generally considered to be the smartest people in the world.

MS-2

MS-2 is an organization created by Takashi Saitou, along with his two companions, Akira Kajou and Junya Aikawa. While it initially began as an independent organization, it was later absorbed into the ER2 System (ER2システム, ER2 Shisutemu), prompting the name change to ER3. After the merge, MS-2's activities became untraceable to the outside world and worked on the creation of the Orange Seed, Magokoro Omokage.
