"The War Criminal of Pisces―Reviving and killing, Doctor Finish."
- — Doctor Finish
Doctor Finish (ドクター・フィニッシュ, Dokutā Finisshu), real name Fuji Nocturne (ノクターン
Personality[]
Doctor Finish is has a perpetually cold and indifferent attitude, never once not in control of whatever situation she is placed in. She appears to be fairly talkative, and is confident in her ability to manipulate people through conversation[2], making herself appear affable and harmless to Tora and stalling for time while constantly deflecting every important question[1]. Despite her initially sociable appearance, Doctor Finish is a criminal who lacks empathy, showing no concern over killing people or experimenting on them[3]. In fact, she takes glee in killing opponents through underhanded means like stabbing Tora in the back, calling it "fun" or "interesting", even when it brings more risk to her own life than other methods[1], also exhibiting the same behavior in her fight with Dotsuku[2]. Like all the other war criminals, she hates war, so much so that she is willing to sacrifice her own life for the possibility of ending it, being convinced by Sir Cancer's speech about his plan and saying that it momentarily "brought emotions out of her that she didn't think she had left". As a result, she treats her own death casually and with very little concern or hesitation. However, she also shows a more self-deprecating disposition, saying that she and everyone else would've likely still become criminals, even if it weren't for war[3]. She has a habit of making "doctor jokes", as well as using specific terminology such as "euthanasia" when referring to killing people[1]. She mentions that she was addicted to a certain anime when she was twelve years younger[2].
Relationships[]
Go To Heaven[]
Doctor Finish and Go To Heaven know each other from when they were both "pupils" of Dotsuku[4], and seem to share somewhat of a friendship as well as a partnership, often acting together in battle. While they appear to be doctor and patient, Go To Heaven appears to serve more of a supporting role, backing up Doctor Finish while she uses her communication skills to distract her opponents[2]. Doctor Finish appears to enjoy talking to her, the two bantering as they head to their deaths together[3].
Dotsuku[]
Dotsuku was the one who trained and trafficked both Doctor Finish and Go To Heaven as warriors, most likely being a direct cause of many of the hardships in their lives[4]. While the man himself is conflicted when facing them, neither of the two ever appear to remember him, and ultimately kill him without realizing it[2]. Even so, they were scouted for the crime plan by Sir Cancer precisely because of their past relationship with him[3]. While briefly communicating with him during their battle, she senses his hesitation and reads it as him feeling pity for them for having become war criminals. Seemingly annoyed, she asks him to let himself be killed if he feels so bad for her, since his ability being the same as her is a pain for her[2].
Appearance[]
Doctor Finish is a young woman with thin blue eyes and long, straight two-toned hair, white above and dark blue on the underside. She is shown wearing a white doctor's coat with a red fish scale pattern gradually fading in at the ends of the coat, above a dark gray scoop neck T-shirt, alongside a dark blue tight-fitting skirt, under which she wears black tights. She wears dark blue high-heeled shoes. She is also shown wearing large round glasses with black rims, two gold fish earrings, one facing upward and the other downward, as well as a stethoscope and a syringe hung by a chain from her neck. She wears "mature make-up", including eyeliner and black lipstick.
Background[]
At some point in her early childhood, she was trained alongside Go To Heaven by Dotsuku as a warrior before being sold[4]. She first revealed her talents in an internment camp, where, at a very young age, she demonstrated immense talents by treating the wounds and illnesses of her cellmates with whatever tools she had lying around, which was treated as a spectacle. The number of patients she operated on in a theater rather than an operating room was in the four digits. She was finally released after entering into a marriage with the director of the facility, but soon afterwards she poisoned him and his family. After that, she operated in various hospitals around the battlefield under different false identities. While she became world-famous for her skillful techniques, her actions were still against the law, and it later came to light that she'd been performing human experiments, which led to her being charged with violating the medical practitioners' act. She doesn't like being taken lightly because of her age, and so wears mature makeup, and is involved in devising new "aging" cosmetic techniques. She has two hamsters, a Djungarian hamster named Adrenaline (アドレナリン, Adorenarin) and a golden hamster named Lymph (リンパ, Rinpa). She was chosen by Sir Cancer to be a part of the plan due to her connection with Dotsuku, and made her play the important role of disguising herself as Duodecuple in order to fool the twelve warriors into believing the veracity of the staged war[3].
Abilities & Equipment[]
- Poisoner (
毒殺師 , Dokusatsu-shi): As a 'pupil' of Dotsuku, she was taught the same poisoning techniques as him, and is similarly immune to poisons[5]. However, unlike her master, she is never shown to administer poison directly from her body. As a doctor, she is also well-versed in other types of drugs and medicines, such as the ones used to alter her voice while disguised as Duodecuple[3].- Secret Drug: One Man Army (
秘薬 『ワンマンアーミー』, Hiyaku "Wan Man Āmī"): A performance-enhancing experimental drug also held by Dotsuku.

As an experimental drug, One Man Army is very risky to use, its side effects being unknown. However, having limited combat capabilities and not being concerned about her life, Doctor Finish used it at some point before her fight with Dotsuku. The drug enhances both physical strength and dexterity as well as all the senses, alongside the user's intelligence and quick thinking skills[5].
