Ami Tsuchiura (
Personality[]
Ami initially appears to be a confident, resolute and headstrong person, refusing to abandon her style even with the continuing threat of the braid killer. In reality, however, Ami is a person who lacks self confidence, believing that her crush, Uchitori Sanriku, would never notice someone plain like her. Therefore, she devises the plan to scare the other students into giving up their braids, so that she remains as the only one wearing the hairstyle. Ami is a very organized person, and can't stand the school being dirty, so she often cleans the school by herself without any appreciation, Uchitori being one of the few to thank her. Becoming frustrated at all the hair left around on the floor by female students, she arrived at her plan.[1]

She often cleans the school by herself, and during one such time, Uchitori Sanriku passed by her and, recognizing her efforts, thanked her, making the girl fall for him. Learning about his preference for braids, she begins styling her hair like so, but, lacking in confidence regarding her appearance, devises a plan to scare the female students, discouraging them from wearing their hair like that, in order to capture Uchitori's attention to herself.[1]
